Taverner turns 12

On the morning of Wednesday 8th March 1995, following the closure of RAMIS, Philip and a team of eight research staff returned to Fortune House (Sydney) to start operations in a tiny 6th floor office as Taverner Research.

Connie Jansen, Sophie Athas (both pictured above), Nicola Donohue, Tracy Sant, Patrick Meza and Julia Draper (6 of the original 8) are all still here 12 years on, while Ricardo Maldonado and Kathy Adams moved on after a couple of years, only to become valued clients instead!

We thank everyone who has been involved in the growth and success of Taverner over the past 12 years – whether full time project staff, DP or field staff, interviewers, suppliers or clients. Continuity has been a very strong element of our history.

Times have changed, we now have office space on 4 floors of Fortune House and over 20 full time staff.

To celebrate the 12 years this week we all congregated on Level 2 for celebratory drinks and brought back many memories. As well as joining in the celebrations, it was a good opportunity for new staff to learn more about the company mythology and culture.

Lucky 13, here we come!
