ESOMAR Asia Pacific – Day 1

Kuala Lumpur is a hectic city - a diverse mix of fast friendly people and a melting pot of cultures. The ESOMAR conference itself looks to be no different – a hectic schedule of speakers, forums and non-stop networking amongst a diverse range of market research related professionals from across Asia and the Pacific region.

After the first 10 minutes at the welcome drinks I had exhausted my supply of business cards and had to return to my room for more... my kangaroo lapel pins were also in demand and in short supply!

Amongst the sea of panel providers (insisting they are not competitors) the conference is set to be a great learning experience - not only in relation to Taverner's prospects in Asia, but in terms of evolving technology, branding opportunities, and innovation.
